You are incredible!

Update: Wow, even after reaching our goal you continue to deliver. As of right now  (Thursday, May 3rd at 11:08am) we only have 1 more signed copy of Drift left to give away as a gift. This last copy will go to the 5th new sustaining donor from now!

This morning we sent this email updating our members on our amazingly successful April Sustaining Donor drive.

You are incredible! Last month we set an ambitious goal for 35 new sustaining donors in the month of April. I am proud to announce that as of this morning, 37 members of our community answered the call and became sustaining donors. 37 might not seem like much, but that is a 350% increase in the amount of consistent small dollar gifts we can count on for every single month. That makes a huge difference as we plan for 2012 and beyond.

These 37 people have pledged to chip in a few dollars a month to help us continue to build a community of progressives across Texas. Their donations will go directly to supporting our various campaigns and help us make your voice heard in Austin and Washington, DC. Thank you - we couldn't do it without your support!

That being said, we just got our hands on 3 more signed copies of Rachel Maddow's brand new book Drift. Because of the enthusiastic feedback regarding the gifts, we will continue to give one signed copy of Drift as a thank you gift to every 5th new sustaining donor.

Become a sustaining donor today and you might get one of our last signed copies of Drift! Chip in a few dollars a month and help fund our work to communicate progressive values in Texas.

Don't worry - this will be the last email you get from us regarding this fundraising drive and signed books. We promise! Heck, because of your enthusiastic support, we already hit our original goal. We just wanted to share this exciting news with you.

If you want to follow along as we announce the recipients for the last 3 signed copies of Rachel Maddow's book, join us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for live updates.

Thanks for all that you do,

Matt Glazer
Executive Director
