June is Gun Violence Awareness Month, an effort that was spurred shortly after the tragedy at Sandy Hook. Now in its second year, this awareness month seeks to promote the gun safety movement and reduce gun violence by increasing public awareness and building support for sensible gun laws.

Here in Texas, there are many organizations that are working to bring sensible gun reform laws to the state every month of every year.
