George Lakoff is coming to Dallas on October 19th

Progress Texas, in partnership with the Dallas Democratic Forum, is excited to announce two events on Friday, October 19th in the Dallas area with leading thinker, professor and author George Lakoff.

George Lakoff is a University of California Berkeley Professor of cognitive linguistics and author of several books, including the New York Times bestseller "Don't Think of An Elephant." His latest book, co-authored with Elisabeth Wehling, is entitled "The Little Blue Book: The Essential Guide to Thinking and Talking Democratic, 2012."

George Lakoff will join us for a lunchtime discussion hosted by the Dallas Democratic Forum at the The Belo Mansion followed by an evening discussion and book signing and talk at Crooked Tree Coffeehouse.
