Families Belong Together Rallies in Texas

Join activists across the country today as we rally and march in protest of the new “zero-tolerance” immigration policy and the separation of immigrant families.

Every day, new stories emerge of immigrant children being taken from their parents as they come to the U.S. asking for shelter and asylum.

A mother was told her daughters were being taken for questioning. She hasn’t seen them since. Texas Border Patrol agents tell migrant moms they’re taking their children to bathe, but separate them instead. A Honduran father killed himself in a Texas jail after being separated from his wife and child. Migrant parents told a congresswoman they could hear their children screaming for them in the next room. A mother’s infant was ripped from her arms as she was breastfeeding. A mother and her son were separated for over 9 months before they were able to see each other again.

Activists are rallying and marching across the country today to protest the new “zero-tolerance” immigration policy and this horrible treatment of families crossing the border.

Join us today at the following Texas events. Together, we must voice our disgust with this policy and work to put an end to these horrible stories.
