She Will Defeat the Trump Party’s Attacks on Democracy

TEXAS – Progress Texas is proud to join the millions of Democrats, Progressives, Independents, and Republican grassroots donors that demonstrated swift, united support, with a unanimous board endorsement for Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for President. President Biden passed the torch to Vice President Harris only two days ago and since then, leading Democrats, everyday Texans, first-time donors, and politicos alike have shown resounding, inspiring support. 

Kamala Harris has the fortitude and progressive values needed to run this country, and bring Americans together. She has vast leadership experience in the White House as Vice President, as a U.S. Senator, as California Attorney General and county prosecutor of criminals and sexual predators like Donald Trump; and is someone who will staunchly advocate for the expansion of our reproductive rights, build wealth for the middle and working classes, and believes “in a brighter future that makes room for all Americans.”

“Kamala Harris is a winning candidate after only two days in the race,” said Advocacy Associate Tatum Owens. “The Lone Star Delegation of the DNC pledged 273 votes to her, 888,000 grassroots donors contributed in one day, 1 million donors contributed overall, and she set a new record at more than $100M in donations in less than two days. Imagine how strong that sense of support will be after 104 more days of her campaign.”
