In 2025, thanks to our grassroots base of supporters, we helped stopped catastrophic legislation like “use it or lose it” aimed at purging four million Texans from the voter rolls, sounded the alarm on racial redistricting, got out the vote in November elections from North Texas to Southeast Texas where Democrats and progressives flipped districts or advanced to runoffs, and we remained a cornerstone for accessible, progressive news—crucial during attacks on nonprofits and public media.
