Louis Bedford

Bio: A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Louis is currently a volunteer attorney with the Dallas County Democratic Party. He previously worked with the Texas Civil Rights Project as a part of the Election Protection Coalition to facilitate a nonpartisan Election Protection hotline for voters.

Policy Interest Areas: Elections, Democracy, Free Speech/First Amendment Issues, Education

Jermaca Brown

Bio: Jermaca is a fifth-generation Texan from Fairfield who currently serves as Field Director for Julie Johnson for Congress. She was raised to organize her community and stand up for those who often feel left behind, which involves electing pro choice progressive Democrats, and committing to ending gun violence.

Policy Interest Areas: Gun Violence Prevention, Reproductive Justice, Education

Jay Malone

Bio: Jay Malone is an experienced political campaign professional who serves as Political and Communications Director at  Texas Gulf Coast AFL-CIO in Houston. He also co-founded and serves as vice chair of the Texas Gulf AFL-CIO Working People PAC, which ran the fourth largest GOTV program in Texas in 2022 and continues to mobilize voters in support of pro-worker candidates.
