Railroad Commission

This race has nothing to do with railroads! It’s our poorly-named energy commission and it regulates the oil and gas industry. It’s our most pivotal decision-maker on climate change!

TEXAS HOUSE

The Texas House of Representatives is composed of 150 members, each elected for a two-year term. Alongside the Texas State Senate, it forms the legislative branch of the Texas state government and works alongside the governor of Texas to create laws and establish a state budget. The legislature only needs nine seats to flip in favor of Democrats in 2020.

District 64 (Denton)

This district was won by Beto O’Rourke in 2018, and is one of the fastest-growing areas in the state! It can easily be one of the nine we need to flip the Texas House.
