THCA - Medicaid Nursing Homes

This poll of Texas voters conducted by Baselice & Associates for the Texas Health Care Association (THCA) found that 72% of Texas Tea Party voters say seniors’ Medicaid-financed nursing home care should be funded at the level state health care officials say is needed.

THA - Majority of Texans Support Medicaid Expansion

This voter survey conducted by the Texas Hospital Association adds to the growing chorus of statewide support for Texas to expand its Medicaid program. According to the poll, 54 percent of voters said the State of Texas should participate in the expansion of Medicaid. After learning more about Medicaid expansion, 59 percent responded favorably.

Texans Like Parts of Federal Health Law

This poll shows which components of the ACA are viewed most favorably by members of the different political parties. 66% of people who identify as Republican are in favor of prohibiting denial of coverage because of pre-existing conditions, but only 6% support the individual mandate portion of the ACA.
