Texas Pulse Poll - General Texas Issues

A general issues poll finds that Texas voters still care a lot about immigration and border security, Gov. Abbott remains more popular than President Obama, Donald Trump is leading the GOP presidential primary race, and Texans are kind of split on Blue Bell ice cream.

One of many Texas Tribune and University of Texas Polls was taken during February of 2010 and covered numerous topics including asking what the most important problems facing Texas are, President Obama approval ratings, people's opinions on the death penalty, gambling, and gay marriage, as well as Republican primary polling regarding Kay Bailey Hutchison and Governor Rick Perry.

This Texas Tribune and University of Texas Poll for February 2011 asks registered voters opinions on various issues including the use of the Rainy Day Fund with 55 percent of voters polled said to not spend it. It also shows that 54 percent of voters polled support for a mandatory sonogram before an abortion procedure.
