Groundbreaking 'All Access' Concert Series Aims to Shatter Abortion Stigma

Reproductive rights and justice groups across Texas and the country are coming together this weekend to shatter abortion stigma.

One in three women will have an abortion in her lifetime, but the stigma surrounding abortion care makes many people feel like they’re not allowed to talk openly about it.

Reproductive health, rights, and justice groups across Texas — and the country — are coming together this weekend to host a series of more than 30 groundbreaking concerts — advocacy events aimed at shattering stigma and giving voice to the powerful movement for abortion rights.

You can be part of this powerful cultural event on Saturday, September 10 in one of these Texas cities:

AUSTIN: All Access Austin concert will be rocking at the Spider House Café and Ballroom, featuring local musicians and spoken word poets. Click here to RSVP on Facebook.

DALLAS: All Access Dallas concert will be at RBC in Deep Ellum, featuring Tina She (of God Des and She), Sudie, Alsace Carcione, and more. Click here to RSVP on Facebook.

HOUSTON: All Access Houston gala will celebrate abortion access and the activists who advocate for our communities. Click here to RSVP on Facebook.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY: All Access cultural health festival is family event for the RGV communities to celebrate self-determination and lift up the fight to live with dignity, respect, and human rights through music, culture, and health education. Click here to RSVP on Facebook.

All Access isn’t just a concert, it’s a powerful cultural event that brings together people of all ages, ethnicities, racial and gender identities to expand our access to abortion and celebrate our collective power. We can’t exercise our right to abortion if we don’t have access to it, and the right to a safe and legal abortion should be a right for all, not just some.

Since the 2010 midterm election, states have quietly passed more than 334 individual restrictions to block women from accessing abortion. That's why supporters of abortion access are stepping up to take action and demand an end to political interference in our healthcare decisions. We are the majority and we will be heard.
